Name: Mordrish. (Surname or family names long since forgotten)
Age: Forgotten. Implied to be very old.
Former Race: Human.
Physical Appearance: A shambling mockery of life, Mordrish has an appearance similar to all Forsaken; rotting flesh and exposed bones. He is a stooped individual, as if worn from years of bearing heavy burdens upon his back, but nevertheless moves with agility and speed despite his shambling and decrepit appearance. His eyes are long since gone, torn from their sockets by birds feasting upon his corpse and his lips and the skin around his mouth have long since rotted away, exposing a grinning grimace of crooked and stained teeth. His skin is a sickly green (in some places grey) and much of it has fallen off, due to the waterlogged nature of his corpse upon his initial resurrection.
Curiously, his hair is fashioned into a tall mohawk.
Character History:
Whatever the man he was like in life is now long gone. Formerly a knight, Mordrish's human life was tainted and colored by manipulation, lies, deceit and kinslaying. The youngest of five brothers, Mordrish was by far the most ambitious and, considering his brothers too "slow" or obstacles in his way of great glory, he orchestrated the deaths of three of his other brothers. It was the last brother who, by twist of fate, used Mordrish's tactics against him, murdering him and dumping his body into Lake Everstill.
Decades have passed until Mordrish twitched to life due to the presence of the Lich King's rising power and, unlike a majority of the Scourge, Mordrish cast off his Scourge shackles and retained his independent will and personality. While initially haunting backwoods and outskirts of civilizations for years, Mordrish claims that he "heard" Sylvanas Windrunner "beckoning" him to the Forsaken. Indeed, he cast his lot in with the Dark Lady and has been loyal (fanatically so) ever since.
Like his previous life, Mordrish is, on the outside, very friendly, jovial and talkative. Many attribute this to loneliness on his behalf, but this is not necessarily true. Beneath the warm, friendly exterior lies the dark worm in his heart (or now lack thereof): he is scheming, murderous, zealous and extremely ambitious.
Character Skills/Strengths: Former life and experience as a knight carried on to his state of undeath; Mordrish is skilled in the arts of battle and war, primarily sword-and-shield tactics. He is a fairly skilled combatant which, combined with his deviousness and crafty nature, can make him a dangerous foe.
Outside of battle, Mordrish is an accomplished poet and a practicing blacksmith.
Character Drawbacks/Weaknesses:
*Egotistical
*Manipulative
*Opportunistic
*Fanaticism for the Forsaken prevents him from compromise.
*Sociopath.
IC Reason for Joining the Shadarim:
Seeking methods to further the Forsaken's dominance. Seeks to aid the Forsaken and the Dark Lady in any possible way. Maverick military units compliments personality, methods and goals well. Wishes to destroy any enemies of the Forsaken.
Division Applying For:
Deathguards or anything militaristic.
